Appreciation
From small seeds grow beautiful flowers. Such was the beginning of the beautiful religious organization now called "The Universal Order of the Rose." We (Gwendolyn and Lana) were drawn together by similar spiritual and ethical values. We understood that each of us can do just a little, but together we can give so much more to those who are in need. From there, the organization took visible shape as a State of Texas Not For Profit organization.
We would like to show our appreciation to people who helped us along the way. Some donated lots of time and emotional support, some donated money, some donated their considerable talent, some donated all of the above!
Father Lee, we could not have founded UOR without you. Patricia, you have made many great things happen for UOR. Your support in all ways keeps us moving forward. Joe and Jerry, thank you for your help with the web site. Jerry, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and unfailing kindness as you keep up with our changes and growth on the web site. Kathy, you keep the “Healing Team” going and you add your strength to our family every day.
The Godparents of all the Children of the Rose deserve special thanks, for they help us in so many ways.
A special thank you to Ms. Hart, David's teacher for three years. You were David's "Hart" and he loved you very much. He wanted to come visit you on Puff the Magic Dragon's island.
Our deepest gratitude goes to the principal, teachers, nurses, counselor and staff of the children's school. We thank you for your love and care of David while he attended kindergarten. We thank you for your support, love and care for the rest of the family when David made his transition. We also thank you for your continued care and guidance of the other children. God Bless you all!
We both deeply appreciate all the help and support from our loving families. It makes a difference knowing that we can always count on all of you! Words alone cannot convey our feelings. We love you all. We both have many family members in spirit that we know are helping us from the other side. We deeply appreciate their help.
